The IAA-CSIC Severo Ochoa Advanced School on Galaxy Evolution will be held in Granada, from Monday, May 23th, to Friday, May 27th, 2022. This school is directed at researchers of all levels who have a special interest in relevant aspects of the formation and evolution of galaxies. The school will present a panoramic overview of the state of the art in the area, aiming to go well beyond the standard textbook knowledge, and providing updated information on the current frontiers of research, with theory and observations.

The lectures and tutorials will be highly interactive, leaving room for questions and discussion; With this aim, several panel discussion sessions and evening tutorials will be scheduled throughout the week, promoting an interactive atmosphere. The participants will be encouraged to present a summary of their ongoing work or/and future projects during the panel sessions.

As concerns the Covid-19 pandemic, we will adhere to the legal requirements that are valid at the time of the conference in the Andalusian autonomous region of Spain. These measures currently include social distancing and masking when indoors.
