“25 years of Solar Physics in Granada”
July 11-13, 2023
REASONS
As in previous meetings, the eighth edition of the Spanish Meetings on Solar and Heliospheric Physics aims to review and highlight the excellent state of Spanish research in these disciplines. Through multidisciplinary sessions that combine studies of the different layers of the Sun and the interplanetary medium and include both theory and observations and instrumentation, the Spanish community will be able to share the latest advances. Special emphasis will be placed on the specialized use and development of new instrumentation. In particular, campaigns on telescopes at the Canary Islands observatories, developments for the European Solar Telescope and participation in space missions such as ESA's Solar Orbiter and Vigil will be of outstanding relevance.

STRUCTURE
La reunión durará dos días y medio: el 11 y el 12 completos y la mañana del 13 de julio.
PARTICIPACIÓN REMOTA
A Zoom connection will be established for those participants who wish to access remotely, although in-person participation is strongly encouraged.
PRESENTATIONS AND POSTERS
The presentations will last 12 minutes + 3 minutes for questions.
Posters will be in vertical A0 format and must be hung by their authors at the time of registration.

REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
How to register?
To register, please complete all the required fields in the form below. There is no registration fee, as all expenses, except for the dinner, which must be paid for separately, will be covered by the Astronomical Infrastructure Network. Information regarding the location of the dinner, the cost and the registration procedure will be provided once the programme is published.
How to submit an abstract?
To submit an abstract, you must select the corresponding option in the registration form. The deadline to register and submit an abstract is May 15.

Headquarters
La reunión tendrá lugar en el Salón de Actos del Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA-CSIC), Glorieta de la Astronomía, s/n, 18008 Granada. El IAA-CSIC se encuentra a 15 minutos a pie desde el centro de la ciudad y a él se puede acceder con las líneas de autobús S2, S0, 11 y 9. La parada de metro más cercana es Hípica y se encuentra a 5 minutos. Los participantes remotos recibirán instrucciones por correo electrónico para conectarse.
